The Holy Souls Parish Social Club was opened for business in the early 1970. There has been several landlord and plenty of Committee Member who have contributed their skills and character to ensure a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for every occasion.
Our Parish Club is in a modern detached single-story building situated just to the left of the Holy Souls Church (viewed from the Warwick Road) and across a large private car park that serves both the needs of the Church and the Club.
The Club has a fully licensed bar, an entertainments area, a dance-floor, a separate games/meeting room (also be used for serving hot and cold buffet) and an external picnic and smoking area.
What are some of the weekly event?
We continue to remain open under the new restrictions. Please join us with your household Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings 7.30pm-10pm and Sundays after the 12 noon Mass.
Bingo -
On Thursday nights, beginning at 8.00pm, the club turns into a mini casino with Bingo, Tote and ‘Play Tour Cards Right’.
Dances
Saturday night dances with live bands begin at 8.30pm.
Irish Set Dancing
Every Tuesday night for beginners and advanced dancers alike. Come along for a warm welcome or just to watch for a while.
Darts Teams
There are two Mens Darts teams which meet on alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays. Ladies Darts team meets on alternate Wednesdays.
Is it possible to book the club?
The Club will cater for funeral reception, baptisms, birthdays and anniversaries. The Club has also held Race Nights, Quiz Nights, fancy dress parties, league meetings, tribute night and sports memorabilia auctions.
