PARISH NEWS & EVENTS

WELCOME TO THE PARISH WEBSITE OF
SACRED HEART AND HOLY SOULS

Picture
The Catholic Parish of Sacred Heart and Holy Souls, Acocks Green is located about 5 miles south-east of Birmingham city centre. The parish is part of the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

The church, built in the neo-gothic style, dates to 1922 and it was erected with the intention of becoming a war memorial, a shrine of prayer for the victims of the war.

Today, the parish continues to be a place of welcome and prayer for its parishioners and visitors alike. Please feel free to contact us by phone, letter or email and interact with our Facebook, Twitter and online Masses via YouTube. And of course it would be great to see you in person.

Please be assured of our prayers and kindest wishes.

Fr Jonathan Veasey - Parish Priest
Fr Alex Taylor - Assistant Priest
